WINDCHIMES WHISPERER

Mother's Day (May 13th Sunday) Gift Ideas For Me
To My Husband and Therefore Our Daughter

Texting with my husband Joseph Scott Taylor

01 May 2018 Tuesday

To Joe 7:16 AM - How about another outside pole or two to hang a couple more wind chimes outside at a time?

From Joe 7:19 AM - Only if you come along and pick them out. A trip to (Hopkinton, MA) Weston Nursery should take care of it. And we can get a Snappy Dog while there.

To Joe 7:56 AM - I just want another pole or two to hang wind chimes I already have. Do not need more wind chimes. Want if when I see them maybe. Need? No!

02 May 2018 Wednesday

To Joe 2:19 PM - Special request when you get home tonight (from work). Hang a wind chime (higher than I feel comfortable reaching on a stool, knee issue) here inside in kitchen for me. Another wind chime I was able to fix as best I could. I fixed 3 wind chimes today. 2 are already hanging. Nice to have time to do this sort of stuff.

I also fixed a few other wind chimes a bit ago. Stormy weather broke ties, made the wind chimes lose pipes, decorative pieces of wind chimes. I found most or all of the pieces, used thin wire we had around the house, figured they could be put back together, maybe 100% or a bit less. Not always like the original wind chime, but close enough. If you don't look closely, most of the time you can't really tell they were repaired. Not hugely expensive. Other people would maybe have just gotten rid of them, probably in the trash. I like them and deemed them worth repairing if I could as best I could. I  could and I did, as best as I possibly could.

Finally enjoying my retirement, age 65 (January 20th birthday). A right knee cap fracture September 2017, the final week my boss was closing our office, I would have retired the next week, delayed my retirement enjoyment.
